Cohering A National Client Base
Cor Commerce
Cor Commerce specializes in the e-commerce industry, collaborating with retail stores to develop and enhance their websites. My role as a digital designer and project manager involved working with over 25 national clients. I oversaw various aspects of the projects, including frequent updates, time management, and client communication, building a seamless timeline from project onboarding to successful launch.
From Onboarding To Launch
The project lifecycle can vary significantly depending on the stage of development a company is in. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with businesses ranging from startups to well-established organizations with over 30 years of experience. These diverse industries encompass a wide range of sectors. To see examples of the design work I've completed, please take a look at the Web & Brand design section of my portfolio.
Questionnaires
Prior to project commencement, we administered questionnaires to clients to gather three crucial parts of information about the project's scope, target audience, and the specific information they aimed to convey to their consumers. This proactive approach enabled me to pre-plan the various project requirements and ensure that it was executed with precision and on a well-timed schedule.
Project Timeline
To maintain project momentum,  a phased approach was implemented to serve as natural checkpoints and project evaluations. My responsibility included conducting weekly project audits to track the progress and confirm they remained on schedule, allowing us to make any necessary adjustments.
Client Communication
Given the agency-oriented nature of this role, I assumed the responsibility of maintaining ongoing client communication throughout every project phase, spanning from onboarding to launch. This encompassed various communication channels, including email, phone calls, and Zoom meetings tailored to the client's preference. This approach not only fostered trust with our clients but also provided transparent updates regarding the project's status at any given point. Over time, I became a primary point of contact for client inquiries and skillfully translated these into actionable tasks.

Software
As a project manager, a variety of essential software tools are employed to facilitate a streamlined process. Below, you'll find a selection of key software applications that I utilize.
Asana
I employed Asana for comprehensive project management, fostering internal collaboration among teams. Within the platform, I harnessed project boards to establish tasks, oversee internal discussions, and perform various other functions.
Trello
When collaborating with the client's marketing or content team, we utilized Trello for task requests and reviews.
Harvest
This software was used to track time for our team as well as our developing team. I also used this tool at the end of projects to analyze the time spent on each phase to further adjust future timelines when necessary.
Google Drive
I used Google Drive in conjunction with email to manage and store project assets. This tool's user-friendly interface proved particularly effective for clients with varying levels of technological proficiency.
