Revamping the product backlog
Valor Performance
Valor Performance is a digital learning platform tailored for high-achieving individuals, incorporating coaching principles. In my role, I collaborated closely with stakeholders, coaches, and clients to refine the product backlog, which led to the establishment of a comprehensive three-month product roadmap. I conducted user testing, managed email marketing to collect valuable user feedback, and compiled and presented data to both headquarters and stakeholders for informed planning of future product enhancements.
Competitive Analysis
One of my initial responsibilities was to conduct a competitive analysis of Valor's product within its industry landscape. IĀ  presented these key performance metrics to our headquarters. This involved not only identifying our target audience and assessing our unique value proposition but also pinpointing areas for potential improvements and other relevant insights.
Management Systems
Atlassian Jira:
I undertook the role of planning epics, crafting stories, and defining tasks for our engineering team to facilitate improvements for theĀ mobile app.
In addition, I optimized the product backlog by eliminating duplicate tasks and streamlining existing ones, thereby reducing repetitive engineering efforts. This strategic approach not only minimized redundancy but also paved the way for transitioning from a weekly task-based model to a more efficient, long-term product backlog plan spanning three months.
Communication
As an Associate Product Manager, I assumed a pivotal communication role within the organization. This position enabled me to cultivate the skill of effectively disseminating information to different segments of both our internal and external stakeholders.
Product Feedback
UserTesting:
I leveraged the UserTesting platform to conduct mockup testing for upcoming mobile application enhancements. This involved formulating questions and feedback sections to evaluate both the user interface and user experience. I collected user feedback and transformed it into actionable insights to guide our next steps effectively.
Mailchimp:
Utilizing Mailchimp, I designed email marketing feedback forms to gauge the usability of the application and overall client satisfaction. These forms also served to collect valuable input on how the application has contributed to enhancing and achieving performance goals.
